Send Remainder Email To User About Reset Your Password In Next 3 days

Step 1:

• Click on Name | Setup | Personal Setup | Email | My Template
• Click on “New Template“,  I used “Custom (without using Letterhead)” template

Step 2:

             1.Click on Name | Setup | Administration Setup | Security Controls | Password Policies.
             2. Select days for drop down “User passwords expire in“, In my case I selected 30 Days.

Step 3: 

       1. Create One Field is Data Type is Check box Label="Password Expiration" with unchecked option save the field

Step 4:

     1. Create Work Flow Rule On User Object
      2.Evaluation Criteria is select 3rd on
      3.Rule Criteria is: criteria are met

      4.Select the field is Password Expiration Equals False  .

      5.Click on Save & Next
      6.Now add workflow immediate action (Field Update) and update flag "Password Expiration" to true.once done click on Save.
      7.Add the Time dependent Action
     8.26 days after Last password changed or Reset    fill up following details in and click on Save Button.
              8.1.  Select the Action is Email Alert and Create Email Alert with Above Email Template YOu have created On Step 1
            8.2. In  Recipient Type::Email Field  and Available Recipients select the  "Email Field-Email" add click button
                        Click On Save Button.
     9. Select the Field update from Time Dependent Action and Update the "Password Expiration" with True condition
and save it.

FInally Activate the Work Flow...

10. How to check it Above Scenario ..
           To test this for one user record, set flag to true then set it to false, and it will queue action for you in time dependent workflow. if you want for all users try to update it with Data Loader( True then false). To check time dependent workflow queue Follow the path

Click on Name | Setup | Administration Setup | Monitoring | Time-Based Workflow and search the queue.

New Feature in Winter 15 is Login Flow

Login Flow is New Feature in Winter 15 Release Notes.....

Usage Case Of  Login Flow::::

     STEP 1:     

                1. Create New Custom Object & Create New Custom Field Data Type is Text[255]

                2.Create One  Record with Text= Happy New Year in Advanced...!

STEP 2:

Click On Set up and enter Flow in quick search and Open link into new Tab

   

    1. Click on New Flow...

    2.Click On Resources & Create New Variable

    

3.click On Ok Button

4. Click On Palette & Drog and Drop Record Lookup  (LoginFlowUsage)

 

Look up select Notice board custom object and click on Ok Button

5. Drag&Drop the Screen create screen following details

  

 click on ok

save and Activate the Flow.

6.Quick search enter Login Flow and click on New button

     Name::LoginFlow

    Flow::Login_Flow_Usage

   User License::Salesforce

  Profile::SystemAdmin

 Save 

Log out User and Login the User the following screen is available click on finish goto Home Page
